Prince Harry-How many Years?

Post by Porty » 14 Jan 2005, 10:06

Will he have to endure walking into rooms, full of his mates, their right arms raised, "Heil Harry" they will shout, the poor boy.

The party was called 'Colonials and Natives' for heavens sake - I'm sure he wasn't the only offensive person there

The boy is obviously thick (and either ignored his advisors or should sack them!) and if we support hereditary monarchy that's what we have to embrace. We don't seriously think that they are the intellectual elite and our moral superiors, do we ?

I think the boy is probably thick, however in this instance he did some good, if only for annoying the Yanks. :D Who as usual are full of righteous indignation, if memory serves me correctly, they were not even going to get involved in the War until Pearl Harbour.

Bush has already out done Hitler in terms of the number of Wars he has started, (Its 2:1 for W) people in glass houses....

He may be thick and he has definitely been ill advised

However the press feeding frenzy over this is once again disgusting

He's 20 years old, he's said sorry...get over it

Unfortunately,in this instance, we can't just blame the British media ....it's hit the headlines in a variety of countries (Israel being one of them).

...............of course you have to bear in mind that that he is from a German family and that if some of his immediate ancestors had had their way, wir wurden alle auf Deutsch sprechen........................

"O" Grade German was enough for me; too much hard work learning which case a noun was and declining regular and irregular verbs. Also, in conversation classes, by the time I found out what the verb was I'd forgotten the first part of the sentence :?
I do remember determinedly including what I thought was a very impressive word in my Writing Exam paper; it was something along the lines of die Dudelsachsspiffenmachengeschaft :D and I was going to take my German pen friend there for a visit when she visited Scotland!

A lot of folk seem to be getting upset just for the sake of it...

Forget about Deutsch - the best foreign word is the Norwegian "stoorsooker"...
