This may sound to the blokes like the kind of trivial question a person of the female gender WOULD ask - BUT - is it best party-wear at the Christmas lunch, or are we all going in The T-shirt? (those of us who have them) ...............

Shhh! Don't mention the tee shirt, Bob might be listening
I think we should get our glad rags on as this is my only Christmas 'do'. My idea of 'posh', mind you, is leaving the felt antlers at home and possibly even wearing a SKIRT!
Dig out the diamante, Jay, and let's go for it (that way there'll be at least two of us done up like a dog's dinner

).

You're on! But I draw the line at a skirt! My legs have not been seen in public for a quarter of a century! Actually, I don't even OWN a skirt! But a posh top and trousers I can do!

*whispers* I don't possess a t-shirt
being a lunch event, I'm going to forgo the cocktail dress but will be slightly smarter than jeans
however, I would imagine that Dada will be wearing jeans and a t-shirt if that's any help Jay

We-ell - to be honest, BB, I was more thinking about what us girls will be wearing! I don't want to turn up in the t-shirt and be the only female there in one (or even two!)

Skirt, definitely not, but I can manage a posh top and accessories ..... (erm - I think I can - which box did THEY get packed in, she asks herself

)
Shame about your male-hen-tail dress ....

A smile says a thousand words ..... or is that a picture? Ah well, you'll look a picture, then!

I'm happy to meet in the bar beforehand, they had a special edition 21 yr old Isle of Jura malt last time I was in. Checked in a wine-shop and it costs £50 a bottle so thought they were being pretty fair only selling it at £3.50 a nip. Mmmmmmm, v nice indeed

Suspect that if you wear that frock BB you'll be greeted with a chorus of "Hey Big Spender" from all the POL drunkards at the bar who clearly don't believe in the old adage "Pace yourself".

Well, I do call it my Shirley Bassey frock...but I prefer "I am what I am" ( as in "It's time to open your closet"...

).
Maybe I will for the hell of it.

Let's go to the polls! Let POL decide!
(Does that mean I'm committed to wearing this really rather OTT frock if you all say so?!)

Did you know that Scotland is the only country where a double positive can have a negative meaning?
What does that say about us, I wonder?
