The trick is to buy clothes with slightly stretchy material and hang them up on clothes hangers to dry.where???????
(Or not. Just have the brass neck to wear clothes wrinkly and claim it's a fashion statement/the fabric is meant to be like that)

Are the baths and swim centre not run by Edinburgh Leisure (part of City of Edinburgh Council)? If so Alan McGregor should be able to approach them in an official capacity.

according to a reliable Largo source the mats were old conveyor belts from a coal mine. Kind of fabric weave with rubber and stapled together at the seams.
